Founder

Rev. Fr. Dr. Antony Mannarkulam

Fr. Antony Mannarkulam began working in mental health treatment and rehabilitation in 1977. Drawing on decades of experience, he developed the 'Sanjeevani Model' of psychosocial rehabilitation and, in 1992, established the Sanjeevani Rehabilitation Centre — the first of its kind in Kerala.

In 2000 he founded Mother Teresa Home, and served as its Director until 2018. He remained a guiding presence for the institutions he founded until his passing in 2020. Tony's Villa, our Silver Jubilee project, is named in his memory.
